Miroslav Skrbek
Miroslav Skrbek works as an assistant professor and a researcher in Computational Intelligence at Department of Computers at Czech technical University in Prague. Master's degree and Ph.D.degree he got at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. His research activities are focused on hardware implementation of neural networks (neural chips and neural accelerators) and biometrics. He is a lecturer in hardware oriented courses like advanced computer architectures and design of microcomputer systems.

Miroslav Šnorek
Miroslav Šnorek was born in south-bohemian town Písek, Czech Republic, in 1947. He studied Technical Cybernetics at Czech Technical University Prague, where he obtained his degrees in 1970. He is now working as Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Electrical Faculty of the same University (CTU).

Zdeněk Buk
Zdeněk Buk works as an assistant professor and researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He got his master degree in Electronics and Computer Science and Engineering from FEE-CTU in Prague in 2005. He joined the group in 2002. His research focuses on methods of computational and artificial intelligence, mainly on artificial neural networks and evolutionary techniques.

Jan Drchal
Jan Drchal works as a postgraduate student and researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He got his master degree form FEE-CTU in 2006. He joined the group in 2003. His research focuses on recurrent artificial neural networks.

Pavel Kordík
Pavel Kordík works as an assistant professor and researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FEE, Czech Technical University in Prague, where he obtained his master's and Ph.D. degree in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He is the co-author of more than 20 publications. He is coordinator of Automated Knowledge Extraction research project and member of research team of Transdisciplinary Research in the Area of Biomedical Engineering II research programme. His research interests are data mining, knowledge extraction, inductive models, neural networks, evolutionary computing, optimization methods, nature inspired continuous optimization, visualization of black-box behaviour and ensemble techniques.

Jan Koutník
Jan Koutnik is now a post-doc researcher in Juergen Schmidhuber's group at IDSIA. Jan Koutnik works as a teacher and a researcher in Computational Intelligence at Department of Computers at Czech technical University in Prague. He has his master and Ph.D. degrees in Informatics and Computer Science from Faculty of Electrical Engineering at CTU in Prague. His research is focused on artificial neural networks, self-organization, temporal sequences processing and other methods of computational and artificial intelligence applied in various tasks.

Miroslav Čepek
Miroslav Čepek is a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He graduated in 2006 in Computer Science and Engineering from Faculty of Electrical Engineering of CTU in Prague. He started his collaboration with the group in 2003. He is interested in biological signal processing and data mining.

Oleg Kovářík
Oleg Kovářík joined the group in 2007 as a Ph.D. student. His research is focused on Ant Colony Optimization and realted swarm algorithms, their parallelization and applications in datamining.

Rudolf Marek
Rudolf Marek is a Ph.D. student and member of the CIG since 2006. His research is focused on hardware implementation of computational intelligence algorithms.

Aleš Pilný
As a Ph.D. student joined the group in 2008 after master degree at FEE, CTU Prague. His research is focused on Feature Ranking and Feature Selection methods and its application in Data Mining.

Tomáš Siegl
Tomas Siegl joined group in 2007 as a PhD student. His research is focused in database systems construction with computational intelligence algorithms. He is also interested in data mining and signal processing.
